What exactly am I paying for?
Alert emails sent, nothing else. A send happens when a product comes back in stock and Kelso emails one subscriber about it. Signups and variants are unlimited on every plan, including Free.
What happens if I go over my send limit?
Sends hold. They're never dropped and never billed as overage. Alerts queue up, we'll let you know, and the queue releases when you upgrade or your month resets.
Is there a free trial on the paid plans?
Yes. Starter, Growth and Scale all start with a 7-day free trial, and you can cancel inside those 7 days from the Shopify billing screen without paying anything. The Free plan works differently: it is not a trial, it has no clock on it, and you can stay on it for as long as you like.
Is the Free plan really free?
Yes. $0/mo, 50 sends included, unlimited subscriber capture and variant tracking, one ESP integration. No credit card needed to install.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, any time, from the Shopify billing screen inside the app. Upgrades apply right away. Downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle. Your waitlist and settings carry over either way.
Do unused sends roll over to next month?
No. Each plan resets monthly. Plans are sized against typical restock volume, so most stores aren't close to their limit most months. Use the calculator above to check your own numbers.
Do you charge a revenue share or per-order fee?
No, on any plan, ever. Some apps in this category take a cut of recovered revenue or charge per notification. Kelso doesn't.
What if I need more than 10,000 sends a month?
